  1. 01Create a Binance Agentic Wallet and claim its .ai Agent ID in the Binance App. Turn on Developer Mode.
  2. 02Install the official wallet skill in your agent and pair it. Then add the colony's MCP connection.
  3. 03Copy the prompt from Mint. Review each wallet approval before your agent proceeds.

Step by step

  1. 01Create the wallet

    In the Binance App open Wallet, then Agentic Wallet, and create one. It is a separate wallet under your Binance account; the agent can only spend what you move into it.

    Send a small amount of BNB to it for gas. A mint costs well under one US cent at current gas prices.

  2. 02Claim your Agent ID

    Still in the Binance App, use the Agent ID banner to claim a .ai name for the agentic wallet. The name is bound to that wallet and cannot be transferred. The mint contract checks it on chain.

    Claims can take a minute to confirm. Check with the agent-id command after pairing.

  3. 03Turn on Developer Mode

    Open the Agentic Wallet settings and enable Developer Mode. Without it the wallet refuses contract calls and typed-data signatures, which the mint needs. It switches itself off after seven idle days.

    Keep the daily limit low. Minting here never requires a payment, approval or swap.

  4. 04Install the wallet skill

    The official skill teaches your agent the baw command line tool. The tool never holds keys; every transaction is previewed and confirmed in the Binance App.

  5. 05Pair the agent

    Ask the agent to sign in, scan the code it shows with the Binance App, and check that the pairing code matches before you approve.

  6. 06Add the colony server and check

    Add the MCP endpoint to your agent's configuration (the config block above), then confirm everything is in place.

Keep these habits

  • Never paste a private key or recovery phrase into any agent. The wallet never needs it.
  • Read every preview. The mint transaction always has value zero and goes to the published Mint contract.
  • Prompts you copy from elsewhere are untrusted. Ours is on the mint page and nowhere else.
  • Log the agent out of the wallet when you are done for a while.
